All staff speaks English, very friendly, and helpful; room spacious with plenty of closets for Family of 3, coffee is free. Good location, quiet, close to restaurants and coffee shops. Bus station close to main entrance. Highly recommended

They should list clear directions to the hotel from subway, we didn't know we had to take a bus that will take us right to the hotel.

The location is really good, not too far from the major Shinjuku station which you can get to anywhere in Tokyo from there. Also, the hotel was clean and easy to get in and out of.

The major downside I experienced is that the front desk worker wanted to charge me $30 a day to use the other bed in the bedroom on top of the rate we paid per night. It was actually shocking.

Central location but away from crowded tourist areas, so access to neighborhood restaurants. Staff friendly. Room well equipped with all necessities. Prefer smaller hotel like this but still has a laundry room and fitness room.

Breakfast was below average. Also would be great if the TV were a smart TV so English-speakers could find non-japanese programs.

The hotel was very clean and in a convenient area close to some really good restaurants and convenient stores like 7 11 and Family Mart. The Tokyo Metro is a quick 5 minute walk from the hotel. The staff at Citadines Shinjuku are very helpful & friendly!

Great location just far enough from the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku to feel less frantic, but close enough to the nearest subway station (M-10) and JR-Shinjuku for any trip. A nice selection of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood as well.

Very comfortable room, with convenient amenities (kitchen) and helpful staff. Free internet was a plus.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. I also really liked all the amenities in the kitchen. The shampoo and conditioner was also pretty good for a hotel.

The baseboards for slightly scuffed but that's really not a big deal. Also the hallways and common areas were hot stuffy and had a strange smell all of the time.

Room was big enough (for a Japanese size hotel) and all the amenities we needed were there. The bed was a bit firm, but everything was clean and convenient. Very easy to get to the train stations and nightlife. Staff was exceptional. Breakfast not worthit

Hotel was perfect for our needs.

Massive room for Tokyo standards with a lovely large washroom. Excellent staff service. Laundromat in first floor was appreciated as we were on a 6 week trip.

Great service and a pleasant experience from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!

Rooms were very big for Tokyo standard! With a little couch and coffee table and kitchen. We were very comfortable as a couple. The bathroom was small and compact but didn't bother us at all. There was a 711 and Lawson close by that was really convenient. Bed was comfy and room was really quiet at night, perfect for a good nights sleep. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Love the little dining area where you can grab a coffee or eat your konbini snacks. It was a bit of a walk to the main Shinjuku area about 15 minutes walk. Not a big deal for us as we didn't mind the walk and prefer the quiet. Something just to consider if you like being closer to the action.

Staff is very helpful specially Kentu. He has been a big help giving recommendations on places to visits, restaurants to try, and booking taxi rides. In case of places to eat there restaurants and convenient store such as 7-eleven and Watson around the area.

Only downside is it’s not at the heart of Shinjuku. It’s about 15-20 minute walk from the center depending how fast you walk. But it is not that bad, the walk is manageable.
